Camelot Golf Club

This picturesque privately owned nine-hole golf course, with 18 tees, is unique. Although not long by today’s standards, many players have been caught out by the tricky layout. Lakes form a large part of the area, and add to the breathtaking beauty of the Estate; however, they also catch plenty of golf balls! The course also has a population of resident Impala and abundant bird life.

Originally endorsed by Hugh Baiocchi for the Camelot developer Richard Gaylord.

After Richard Gaylord’s death the Camelot Trust was established in 2009 as the vehicle to purchase, on behalf of the Camelot Homeowners, the Environmental Open Space on which the golf course is situated, from the Gaylord Family Trust.

The area pertaining to the golf course and the Clubhouse buildings is now leased to the Camelot Country Club who have since successfully managed and operated the course profitably and established it as one of the top 9-hole golf courses in the country.

Camelot Golf Course comprises 9 holes each with 2 tee boxes situated in the heart of Hillcrest.

There are two pin-positions on the Par 3’s: white flag – front 9; Red flag – Back 9.
Pub and snack bar (Halfway House) on site.

The tranquil  surroundings combined with the sloping fairways and well-manicured greens will ensure a pleasant golfing experience.
