CONQUESTA was established in 1998. In January 2023 we celebrated 25 years of service to schools in and around South Africa. In July 2024, Conquesta was awarded ‘Most Trusted Educational Resource Provider 2024’ in the 2024 Africa Excellence Awards.
We provide annual multiple choice Olympiads for grades 1-9 students across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and eSwatini (Swaziland) in both English and Afrikaans. New papers are set each year by carefully selected teachers, who are professionals in their respective fields.
Cost:
A once off enrolment fee of R27 per learner, plus R30 per subject per learner. E.g., if a learner takes part in 3 subjects, it will cost: R27 + R90 (R30 x 3 subjects) = R117.
South Africa:
Personalized papers and instructions are couriered to your door; entries under R2 500 are emailed. Namibia, Botswana and eSwatini: Everything is emailed to you, with the option of being couriered to your door at your own cost.
Results:
We do all the marking and send you certificates for every participant, regardless of results, as well as a certificate for schools to hang in their foyers. Schools and Homeschools receive a list of their learners’ results by subject and grade, as well as statistics of their grade 4-9 Mathematics, Science and Technology results by sub-category, to identify strengths and weaknesses in these subjects. The National Averages and Top 20 Schools results can be viewed on our website.
We are proud to be associated with ASTEMI, formed by SAASTA, a division of the NRF, bringing Olympiads and competitions to learners in far reaching areas of our country.
We are also proud to be partnered with Project Rhino KZN to save our rhino’s. Project Rhino KZN and the Kingsley Holgate Foundation began the Rhino art – Let the Children be Heard campaign, which creates an awareness in children about the crucial situation our Rhino’s face, bordering extinction due to poaching. We encourage you to get as many young people involved and made aware as you can.
