Fully registered centre, with a Christian ethos, we strive to provide a stimulating, loving and safe environment with experienced and qualified teachers, with experienced assistants. The programmes are age appropriate and the Crèche and Pre-school are completely separate with their own playgrounds, bathrooms, playrooms, sleep rooms, toys and teaching aids. All our staff have first aid certificates. Using recognized ECD/CAPS/NELDS programmes, children are encouraged to think for themselves.
A security guard is on duty during drop off and collection times. Extra-mural activities are available on the premises: playball, swimming, Gymnastic and Build em brix, with qualified instructors.
Our pool is heated, covered and fenced at all times. The playgrounds are very large and are sectioned off so each group can use any one for a specific purpose. We are also proud of our “Recycled Sensory Garden” built to teach the children the importance of recycling.
Our bus collects children from Hillcrest Primary for aftercare. Homework for the grade 1s and 2s is supervised.
We are open throughout the year, bar 15 working days over Christmas and New Year. Fees are over 12 months. Holiday care is available at no extra cost to all registered children, casual children are welcome at a daily rate. We have an open door policy.
