Hillcrest Health & Aged Care Services is owned by Marg Warnes, who is passionate about the care of the elderly. “We’re proud to offer services for the care, support and protection of older persons.” Determination to understand the unique needs of older people, Sr Marg attended 3 conferences on geriatric care and she now well versed in the subject. Sister Marjorie Warnes is a registered Nurse with SANC, and has working experience in a Cardiac High Care Unit. She is registered with the Board of Healthcare providers to help obtain assistance from medical aids with the cost of homecare.
Care and accommodation
Good health and well-being of the elderly is promoted in their care homes. Aid is given for management of minor health problems and any long-term pre-existing conditions. Residents are given assistance to help them recover from any illnesses or with necessary post hospitalisation care, right down to palliative or end of life care.
